Well done you! I have to admit, I'm too lazy to beat myself up. Some people say I'm a calming influence, but that's just because I don't get my feather ruffled very easily, I suspect! I'm all for anything nice!! Foot oils, etc. Bring 'em on!

Good for taking the time, Rosy. I think any form of care is important, summer or winter.

But perhaps the best, and one sadly lacking for me since the advent of puppahood (or puppageddon depending on my state of tiredness), is meditation (with breathing and loving kindness - all Buddhist-based). It allows thoughts to float and disappear and is gratitude-based.

Good for you for managing some self care. I'm interested in coconut oil to relieve achey joints - just plain coconut oil? Nothing added?

Yes, but nicely warmed. It’s well worth reading Geetika’s post beforehand. I hope it helps.

Dear Rosy, I am so happy that you tried Abhyanga and found it helpful! And kudos to you for making the decision to take care of yourself. It's so important that we do that before looking after others.

And thank you so much for writing about it on your Substack. You made my day.
