Hello and welcome.
My dream was to publish a novel. I accidentally wrote a cosy crime novel, not knowing which genre I wanted to write in.
My journey began here on Substack when I serialised a story set in a fictional hamlet, based on the village where I live, and I called it, ‘The Mysterious Disappearance of Marsha Boden’. That was two years ago.
Today, that book is available to buy at Foyles, Waterstones, WHSmith and Amazon. I never thought in a million years that my dream would come true. It has been a lot of hard work but worth every minute of slaving over the keyboard, even when I have felt like giving up. I always remembered what my dream was.

So that my posts can slide gently and unobtrusively into your inbox, so you can read them at your leisure, when it suits you. I will never try and sell you anything (apart from my books, of course!) and I won’t bombard you.
More About Me
I live in Shropshire, a rural part of England, where I work as a Legal Secretary, and when I am not working, I am writing or occasionally, I play golf to unwind and relax.
The link above has some amazing footage of the beautiful place where I live and I feel very fortunate to be able to call it home.
My website rosygee.com has lots more information about me and my books. I have self-published two collections of short stories and poetry and my debut novel, The Mysterious Disappearance of Marsha Boden, is published by RomaReads Publishing.
I also have two children’s books in the pipeline for publication. The first is Mr Tiddy’s Garden and is due for publication in October, again by RomaReads Publishing. I have seen the illustrations and they are beautiful.
The second children’s book, A Day at the Park, is due out next Spring.
I hope you enjoy my novel too and if you are kind enough to pre-order and buy a copy, please remember to leave a review. Reviews are so important to authors and help enormously in generating sales.
If you have any questions about writing, how to go about getting published, or anything else, please get in touch. You can do that by leaving a comment below.
Thank you for being here. Just knowing that people are reading my work makes it all worthwhile.
Rosy.
Hi Rosy, nice to find your here. :) Looking forward to reading more of your work. Congratulations on your new book. I don't think I've read many of your poems.
