Hello and welcome to this week’s Rosy’s Ramblings, which is taking on a slightly different format from now on. My paid subscribers will receive a weekly post while free subscribers will receive a monthly post. Paid subscribers have unlimited access to all 270 posts while free subscribers can access them until they slip behind the paywall after 4 weeks.
Having cut back on going out to work from four to three days a week, I can luxuriate in those extra days at home and sit behind my desk writing to my heart’s content. I forget sometimes that writing is work. Hard work. But because I get so much pleasure from it, it really doesn’t feel like work. It’s all the other bits that go with it which makes it hard or difficult, especially for somebody like me, who is an introvert and rather shy when it comes to blowing my own trumpet. When I posted a note in response to

Once a spare bedroom, I transformed it into my writing room, complete with a desk, filing cabinet, and a sofa on which to read. Recently, I added some book shelves (which were lovingly made by my daughter, so are extra special) and a wall of books has added much more depth to the room, and I feel even more at home here than ever before. It is my safe and happy place.
I have felt like the guy in the photo above so many times, but I pick myself up, dust myself down, and keep pushing on after meeting brick walls head on.
