First of all, thank you for your kind birthday wishes and for showing up every week.  I appreciate your support and hope you continue to enjoy Rosy’s Ramblings.

A quick update on the family meal with my ex-husband, his wife, my daughter and my current husband.  How do you think it went?

It was an absolute blast and we enjoyed a wonderful evening together, with both husbands hitting it off really well.  Whew! I had an inkling that things would go well, but you can never tell.  I was even showered with gifts and a birthday cake, so a big thank you to my daughter and my ‘wider family’ for being such kind, generous and thoughtful people.

A gauntlet was thrown down in the form of a golf challenge too, so I can see lots more gatherings and fun times ahead.

Now to the 5 fun facts about me:-

Fun Fact #1 – I am always on a diet

My latest discovery to help keep my weight down is Chia seeds. Have you tried them yet?

I make up recipes I find on Pinterest, put them in the fridge overnight and enjoy them for breakfast.  They keep me full for so long that I sometimes don’t want to eat lunch until mid-late afternoon, which means I’m not snacking and sometimes not even craving my evening meal. 

As well as having some great health benefits, they are extremely versatile and I am experimenting with different flavour combinations. 

I am a coconut-nut and I make up the following recipe:-

4 tablespoons of Chia seeds

2 tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter

1 cup of coconut milk (I use a low-fat version) or you could use oat milk or almond milk

1 dessertspoon of honey

1 teaspoon of Turmeric (I pop this in because I think it has some health
